The UK’s largest inflatable outdoor park will now be in Worcester for just one day, organizers have announced.
Inflatable Family Fundays had planned to hit town for the weekend tomorrow through Saturday, but plans changed after the Met Office issued the yellow weather warning of heavy rain and thunderstorms.
The Funday will take place tomorrow (Friday) at 10.30am at Worcester Rugby Football Club with back-to-back sessions.
The company posted the update on their Facebook page, writing, “Due to the weather forecast for the coming weekend and the Met Office’s weather warning, we and the rugby club have made the tough decision that we won’t open until July 23rd.
“The safety of our visitors comes first, along with the health and safety of our employees on the website we use.”
The park includes bumper boats, bungee trampolines, and inflatables.
The event does not take pre-registrations, wristbands can only be purchased on arrival.
The organizers have previously assured the parents that all “necessary measures have been taken” to make Covid safe for all participants.
“Please, due to the number restrictions and the safety of everyone present, we cannot ask more than two accompanying adults per family,” they said.
Entry is £ 7 per child, with accompanying adults and free parking. The age range for this event is 2-12 years.
