A popular cocktail bar creating flashy drinks that are an Instagram favorite could come to Worcester.
The Botanist cocktail bar plans to open on the city’s cathedral square with live music and a late night license.
The bar and restaurant will join popular bars and restaurants including All Bar One, Cozy Club and Ask.
The botanist describes himself as: “A place where antiques and trinkets hang from the walls and local botanists make unusual brews.

Popular drinks at the nearest bar in Birmingham include porn star The Botanist for £ 9.95, rhubarb and sage spritz for £ 8.95 and elderflower and jasmine mojito for £ 7.95.

New World Trading Company filed an alcohol and entertainment application with Worcestershire Regulatory Services for The Botanist.
It has applied for a license to sell alcohol Thursday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m.
Live music performances could also be part of the cocktail bar’s plans when it opens in Worcester.
The New World Trading Company has also applied for permission to allow live music from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Thursday through Saturday and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday.
It also applies to WRS to be able to play music recorded at the same times.
A request to sell soft drinks late into the night Thursday through Saturday from 11pm to 2.30am and all other evenings from 11pm to 1.30am.
According to the requests, the bar will be located in Units 4 and 5 on Cathedral Square on High Street.
During the summer, the Alchemist cocktail bar was rumored to be looking for a home in Cathedral Square, but they undermined the social media rumors.
New World Trading Company has been contacted but has not responded before the deadline.
