Shops in the Bromsgrove area have been informed by the local council that the waste disposal services will assist with reopening tomorrow.
In line with the government’s lockdown roadmap, restaurants, leisure services and other businesses – that were previously closed – can open on Monday, May 17th.
The agency’s Business Waste Services are a reminder that they are here to help both existing and new customers.
During the pandemic, the commercial service operated by Bromsgrove District Council was not only available to its employees to assist in disposing of essential household waste in 2020, but also helped more than 200 customers by suspending or reducing their service needs so they would not be burdened became unnecessary during the Covid crisis.
With stores reopening, the BDC Business Waste Team is excited to welcome current and future customers in Worcestershire, Warwickshire and the wider West Midlands.
All businesses that need help getting back to business are encouraged to get in touch with a simple solution to disposing of their waste so they can focus on the things that matter most to them in the current climate.
Martin Roche, Executive Manager of Commercial Waste, said: “While our customers stayed home and did their part to fight Covid-19, we made sure they didn’t have to worry about waste that they weren’t, a single fee would not make it charged.
“We all waste and we all need someone to take it away, but we don’t like to think about it and companies are no different.
“With the easing of restrictions fully underway, we would like to remind companies that we are here to help you get back to business as usual.
“When you sign up with us, you are doing your due diligence to properly dispose of your waste and it’s one less thing to worry about when you get back on your feet. You can only focus on the more important and exciting parts of the reopening. “
All waste producing companies in the UK are required to comply with what is known as “due diligence” under environmental best practice laws.
The due diligence will state where the waste came from and to whom it was given to ensure it is disposed of safely and legally by engaging an appropriately authorized company.
