MEMBERS of the Droitwich Dolphins Swimming Club completed the online training on sudden cardiac arrest coaching in the UK after Danish soccer star Christian Eriksen collapsed at Euro 2020.
Eriksen received life-saving treatment during the game against Finland and has since recovered.
The incident caused the club to take its own steps to know what to do in the event of such a health emergency, and more than 30 members have learned how to use a defibrillator and other techniques until help arrives.
The club, which offers swimming for children and adults, is located in the Droitwich Leisure Center.
