COVENTRY United Ladies have received support from Australia ahead of the club’s survival showdown with Watford this weekend.
Bulurru, the largest indigenous souvenir company in Australia, will sponsor a coach for their last game of the season.
This will allow Coventry to send a coach full of fans to the game at Vicarage Road with both Michael Mogan MBE and owner Lewis Taylor committing funds to reduce the cost for supporters.
And Darryl Horner, an old school friend of Mogan from Cardinal Wiseman, quickly pledged his support from Bulurru.
Horner said: “I always carry Coventry with me in my heart and, seeing what these ladies have achieved this season, made me determined to help in any way that I could.
“Regardless of the time difference, I will be looking out for the score on Sunday and hope that the fans on the sponsored coaches can make plenty of noise.”
The Red and Greens were handed a 10-point deduction in January which left them 10 points from safety only for a remarkable run of form to leave United one win away from producing a great escape.
Coach tickets cost £7 per person (with return) and are available to purchase at: coventryunited.square.site
