Evesham travel agencies will reopen in new premises

The Midcounties Co-operative travel agency in Evesham will reopen in a new location with a new look on April 12th after loosening lockdown restrictions.

Formerly known as “Co-operative Travel” and located on 72 High St, the branch has moved to 15 Bridge Street in Evesham and has been renamed “Your Co-op Travel”.

The building is located in a nature reserve in Evesham and has a 20 year history as a travel agency. In the past it was traded as Hays, Thomas Cook, and Going Places. It was also home to a bakery and shoe shop in its day.

The Midcounties cooperative will reopen all 78 travel agent branches on April 12th, including five in Worcestershire.

Natalie Turner, Director of Retail for Her Co-op Travel, said, “We are very excited to be reopening our stores on April 12th, and we are especially excited to introduce the new name,“ Your Co-op Travel ” in our Evesham store. We can hardly wait to welcome customers back to the branches and to be able to offer them the important, personal contact to a travel expert again.

“It’s a confusing time for vacationers right now,” Turner continued, “so booking with an experienced and trusted travel agent has never been more important. To give our customers peace of mind, we offer flexible payment options as part of the Co-op Holidays Promise , free children’s places as well as free changes and cancellations, small deposits and cash refunds within 10 days.

“As one of the UK’s largest independent consumer cooperatives, we are 100% member owned and the new name Your Co-op really reflects the membership idea.

“Our goal is to serve our members, and our success rests on building good connections with our customers, members, and the communities in which we operate. Our members have a direct say in the decisions we make, whether this affects our long-term business strategy or how we support their local communities. “
