Fisher German has partnered with Sytchampton Endowed Primary School to fund a new modern classroom.
This replaces a mobile classroom block already on site.
The program is financed by the “Building Communities” initiative of the real estate consultancy, which is intended to support municipal organizations with grants.
The school receives a portion of the commission from every home sold in its area by Fisher German on behalf of parents, carers and relatives of the children attending the school.
The funds raised will be used to replace the classroom block.
Amanda Richards, Headmistress of Sytchampton Endowed Primary School, said, “We are delighted to be selected as the first beneficiary of the Fisher Germans Community Building Program in Worcester.
“We are currently collecting donations for our new building, as we will apply for state funding, but we have to prove that we can contribute to the costs.
“Our PTA was very creative with fundraising during the pandemic, but has certainly suffered from the fact that we were unable to hold our usual large-scale events.
“We are excited to be doing some of these events again now, and any money Fisher German brings will give the school a huge boost to complement these, for which we are very grateful.”
The program was already launched by Fisher German’s Thame office, which has raised more than £ 10,000 for schools and community groups in the area.
Joanne Platt of Fisher German said: “Our joint venture program is a fantastic opportunity to give back to the areas we work in and to make a real difference for local schools and associations.
“Sytchampton Endowed Primary School is raising money for a key project and we are very excited to be able to contribute.
“The new building will offer the children a fantastic learning space and we look forward to working with the school and making it a reality.”
