The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, better known as the Red Arrows, was formed in the early 1960s to become the public face of the RAF.
They are known for their combination of tight formations and precision flying, as well as their use of colored contrails that leave red, white, and blue in the sky.
The Red Arrows got their nickname because the training aircraft they use is predominantly red.
