Lots of free things to do and see in the Malvern Hills District during this year’s Heritage Open Days

A SERIES of tours, markets and events are held throughout the Malvern Hills area as part of the Heritage Open Days. writes Ben Workman.

The Heritage Open Days serve as a celebration of England’s national heritage. The Open Days will take place from September 10th to 19th under the motto “Edible England”.

Open days include tours of attractions such as Great Malvern Priory, Little Malvern Priory, and Great Malvern Railway Station.

Other walking tours are available to visitors to the Heritage Open Days, including walks through Great Malvern Town, Rose Bank Gardens, and more.

The Heritage Open Days are critical to showing what Malvern has to offer.

Coun Daniel Walton said, “Heritage Open Days are a great opportunity for us to celebrate our district and the wonderful landmarks that we are fortunate to enjoy.

“The event is also an opportunity to support companies, whether it’s visiting a local brewery or shopping for groceries at a farmers market, there’s a lot to do.”

The Heritage Open Days are a great opportunity to highlight what Malvern has to offer from the countryside to local businesses.

Most events are free. Visit www.ticketsource.co.uk/malvern-civic-society for more information and to book seats.
