SIGNED limited edition match jerseys from the Worcestershire Rapids Vitality Blast victory against the Leicestershire Foxes on Sunday are now available for sale through an online charity auction.
As part of the Morgan Motor Company’s partnership with Worcestershire CCC, the sponsor logo on the front of the jerseys has been replaced with the St. Richard’s Hospice logo to increase awareness.
Each jersey is individually signed by the players and the proceeds from the auction go directly to St. Richard’s Hospice – the club’s official 2021 charity partner. The many include the jerseys of Rapids captain Ben Cox and overseas stars Ish Sodhi and Ben Dwarshuis.
The Morgan Motor Company’s gesture is a direct response to a challenging year for St. Richard’s Hospice, which has missed a large portion of its expected revenue due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Despite these challenges, the hospice continued to serve many people in need in Worcestershire.
The auction is now open and will run until Sunday, July 11th, 10 p.m. For more details, please visit the club’s auction website here.
David Hoskins, Worcestershire CCC’s Head of Commercial and Operations, said: “Thank you again to the Morgan Motor Company for their tremendous generosity towards the jerseys and St. Richard’s Hospice for Sunday game.
“Now members and supporters can do their part to help this great hospice by bidding for the kits worn by the Rapids against Leicestershire.
“It will be a unique opportunity to own one of these shirts and help fund St. Richard’s Hospice so they can continue their amazing work and support with the local community.”
