THE WORCESTER groom of a Married at First Sight couple got a taste of London life in the latest episode of the show.
George Roberts, 40, married Miss Great Britain 2020, April Banbury,32, on the latest season of Married at First Sight UK.
Despite having ups and downs throughout the experiment, the couple has become one of the first to say they love each other during the season.
In last night’s episode (Wednesday), Roberts paid a visit to Banbury’s South London home as part of the homestays.

During the visit, Banbury’s dad, Ian questioned Roberts’ intentions over a pint in a cocktail bar called Lost Society.
Although, before Roberts met his new father-in-law, Banbury joked and said: “So if he doesn’t like you, I’m sorry, this isn’t going to work.”
And Roberts replied: “Okay, well at least I’ve been warned.”
In conversation with his new father-in-law, Roberts said: “I just felt for you on the wedding day, because, obviously, if my daughter decides to do this and you didn’t know me from Adam, and suddenly, I ‘m whisking your daughter off to a honeymoon.

“I can imagine that must have been quite tough.”
But Mr Banbury revealed his laidback nature and said: “April’s got her own life, if that’s what she wants to do, then so be it. I won’t interfere.
“I’m not that kind of person.”
Banbury agreed and said: “He’s so chill, you married the person with the most chill dad in the world.”
The dad also grilled Roberts about what his plans are for the future and the couple revealed they are excited to see what life will be like as a married couple on the outside of the experiment.
Mr Banbury seemed to have given Roberts his approval when he said: “I think they’ve got a good bond together, I can feel it in my bones.
“He seems a nice guy, George.”
The lunch ended with a shake of hands between the two men and a sigh of relief from Roberts as everyone started laughing.
However, Roberts was reportedly arrested on suspicion of controlling and coercive behavior on Thursday, September 29.
The reality star was reportedly arrested in Worcestershire last week.
Now the Metropolitan Police have released a statement sharing Roberts has since been bailed.
