Massachusetts State Lottery winners: Five $100,000 prizes won Friday

Five $100,000 lottery prizes were won across Massachusetts on Friday.

The six-figure rewards were won from just two games, “Millions” and “$15,000,000 Money Maker,” but the winning tickets were bought at businesses scattered across Central and Eastern Massachusetts, including the Milford Package Store in Milford, Paula’s Package Store in Canton , Richdale Food Shops in Hingham, Sobrinos Market in Boston and TJ’s Variety in Peabody.

The winners of the five $100,000 prizes Friday were not the only lucky lottery players in Massachusetts this week. Another five $100,000 awards were won or claimed Thursday, and on Wednesday, a $1 million scratch ticket was sold from a Speedway and three other $100,000 scratch tickets were claimed in the state.

Every day, the Massachusetts State Lottery releases a list of all the winning tickets worth more than $600 in the commonwealth. Overall, there were 765 winning lottery tickets worth at least $600 sold in the state on Friday, including 22 in Springfield and 30 in Worcester.

The largest lottery prize won in Massachusetts this year was worth $16.35 million, which was part of the “Megabucks Doubler” game. It was purchased at Cumberland Farms in Ware, marking the fourth $15 million prize won in the commonwealth this year.
