Financial support to reopen businesses

The Council Chairs have given Worcester businesses up to £ 18,000 in grants to cover the cost of reopening.

Last month, the Chancellor announced further grants for councils to support companies affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

The ReStart Grant program can be applied for until June 30th.

One-time grants of up to £ 6,000 are available for non-essential retail stores with a pro rata value between £ 15,000 and £ 51,000.

The Restart Grant also supports hospitality, lodging, leisure, personal care and gym business premises with one-time grants of up to £ 18,000. To qualify, the premises must have a pro rata value between £ 15,000 and £ 51,000.
